AGEST Signed MOU on DX Technology Development with Japan Digital Transformation Partners(JDXP), the Consortium of Vietnamese DX Venture Companies
~To Provide “DX Promotion Development Services” Utilizing Vietnamese High-Level IT Human Resources~
AGEST, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “AGEST”), which supports the improvement of software quality and safety through the use of advanced quality technologies announces that AGEST has concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Consortium of Vietnamese DX venture companies Japan, Digital Transformation Partners (hereinafter referred to as “JDXP”) regarding a business alliance in DX technology development.
With the recently increased complexity of DX system development against the background of corporate DX promotion, including AI, IoT, and digital data utilization, our customer needs show a tendency to expand over various areas including support for in-house DX system development and vendor control as well as software testing to ensure product quality and safety. In response to such needs, we have signed an MOU on DX technology development with JDXP. We are providing DX technology development support services to those customers wishing to develop high-quality products/services, rather than just only as a system development outsourcer, but as a DX system development partner to support their in-house service/system development including the early stages such as requirement definition.
In Vietnam, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, together with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), has been implementing HEDSPI (Higher Education Development Support Project on ICT), a project aimed at fostering high-level IT human resources fluent in Japanese language, and has contributed a large number of excellent high-level IT human resources from 2006 to 2014.
JDXP is a consortium that was established by Vietnamese DX venture companies founded by those who had completed HEDSPI. Presently, it consists of 15 companies including DX venture companies that have globally achieved a wealth of development records taking advantage of their cutting-edge technologies related to DX, AI and others.
This signing of the MOU will enable us to flexibly react to our customer needs, by integrating in a hybrid manner global development utilizing Vietnamese high-level IT human resources with cutting edge technologies and on-site development & full-remote development utilizing engineers with the project management skills mainly for our bases in Japan. In addition to this, by leveraging our Group’s expert support for software testing as well, we will support the shfting process to promote the in-house DX service development that satisfy both cost reduction and high quality.
Through the strengthening of DX system development suport and the provision of a one stop service from software testing to security and DX system development, AGEST aims to contribute to the quality improvement of customer products/services and make a contribution to the development of an advanced digital society.
